A&C Sales is a family owned business which began it's operation in November 1991.

Back then, after some initial research, we began buying products locally and resold them to retail stores throughout Trinidad & Tobago.

Being encouraged by our customers, we were soon sourcing and importing a few items ourselves.

Over the next few years we increased our imported product lines to well over 600 items.

With the introduction of low cost inkjet printers and the use of a digital camera, we began taking digital photos of all the products we carried in order to create a Sales Catalog.

In our effort to continue updating our catalog, we found ourselves spending a small fortune on new inkjet cartridges.

Determined to cut our printing costs, we started looking for other alternatives to expensive new cartridges. That's when we came across remanufactured inkjet cartridges.

However, our joy was short lived when we discovered that many of the remanufactured cartridges we bought from various manufacturers were poorly done. Less than 50% of them worked properly.

Frustrated with the inconsistent quality, we became more involved in the industry by purchasing our first refill kit to further reduce our printing costs, and to get a more consistent quality by doing the refilling ourselves.

After testing refill kits from many different manufacturers, we discovered that the actual refilling instructions were quite similar, and that the major factor directly related to the quality of the refilled cartridge, was the quality of the ink.

In 1997, after some early success refilling our own inkjet cartridges, we spent the next 18 months testing inks from manufacturers all over the globe.

This is what we learnt:

• "Universal Refill Kits" do not produce professional results.

• Cheap inks produce poor results, but expensive inks do not guarantee good results.

• There are many ink suppliers who know nothing about the inks they sell.

• No one ink manufacturer produces excellent inks for all printer models.

The results of our months of testing and meticulous attention to quality has brought us huge success in the inkjet refilling industry.

• We produce the best remanufactured inkjet cartridges in the industry.

• We do more quality refills than any other company in Trinidad & Tobago and the Caribbean.

• We buy hundreds of empty inkjet cartridges for the purpose of refilling.

• In November 2004, we started selling our remanufactured inkjet cartridges to customers in the United States and Canada through eBay.

• Our customer base continues to grow at a nice steady pace as the word gets around.

Today, as always, we continue to educate ourselves in this industry as new printer models, inks, refilling procedures and supplies are developed.
